Peter Patrick Reid

Founding Director Peter Patrick Reid has played an instrumental role in the development of the organisation. A visionary with excellent analytical skills, Peter was able to develop & grow a much needed community interest company.

As an active member of the community he serves on a number of advisory boards including:

Croydon Schools Improvement Board
Schools Behavioural Task Force
Children & Young Peoples Strategic Partnership
Healthy Croydon Partnership

In 2003 he was awarded as Croydon Community Champion - for diversity for his work in the community. In 2004 he was voted Mighty Man of Valour award for being an outstanding role model for men in the community. He is dedicated to using his skills to work with youth and tackle issues around crime prevention, anti-social behaviour, the underachievement of BME boys as giving his time and effort in Street Pastors initiative, Gang Mediation, Student and Parent Mediation Programs to further the development of young people in the community.

Claudine Reid MBE

Claudine Reid MBE - Co Director of PJ’s Community Service, passionate about Community Impact.

From 2002 – 2005 Claudine was on the Ethnic Minority Business Forum (part of the DTI) in an advisory capacity on Ethnic Minority Business issues to the Secretary of State.

In 2006 she received an award for contributions to business from the South London Ethnic Minority Business Association.

In October 2007 she was appointed as one of 25 Social Enterprise Ambassadors for the country, her remit includes assisting Social Enterprise Coalition in raising the profile of the social enterprise movement.

Claudine was a finalist in the PROWESS awards – in the category of Female Social Entrepreneur 2008.

In Novemer 2008 Claudine was nominated as Community Champion – for business.

In 2008 Claudine was appointed as 1 of 30 Cabinet Office Social Enterprise Ambassadors for the Country.
